The
Next Generation:
Photo Exhibition Stine Rasmussen & Book Release "Turen går
til Wien"
12 January - 1 February 2010
Tuesday 12 January 2010 saw the opening of Stine Rasmussen's first
photo exhibition at Kulturforum DanAustria in Vienna. Through a series
of black/white photographs she exhibited a new and very different
view of the beautiful city of Vienna.
Stine
Rasmussen was born 1974 in Denmark. After finishing university she
settled in Vienna, Austria, where she is currently working for a non-governmental
children's organisation. Over the past years photography has become
an ever more important part of her life and Kulturforum DanAustria
was proud to present her work to the public.
Next to the photo exhibition the Danish freelance journalist Christine
Proksch presented the brand-new edition of the Viennese travel guide
"Turen går til Wien" - one of the bestselling travel
guides in Denmark. The new book also includes photos by Stine Rasmussen.
Proceeds
benefit "Keep a Child Alive"
During the exhibition period Stine Rasmussen and Kulturforum DanAustria
fundraised money for "Keep a Child Alive". Proceeds from
photographs sold also benefited the AIDS organisation.
